Basic Compensation

In camp placement programs, counselor compensation is tailored to your unique skills and contributions. Base pay starts at over $2,000, providing a solid foundation for your summer adventure. Returning counselors, with demonstrated dedication, often have the opportunity to negotiate their compensation based on their experience and expertise. The emphasis is on the value you bring to the camp community, and we're excited to reward your hard work and commitment. Here's a potential breakdown of compensation for first-time counselors who meet eligibility criteria, including special certifications, most of these certification can be acquired before camp start, so ask your representative about it!
